Although my family moved to the UK 5 years ago, we’ve always tried to keep our children connected to their native language. My son, who was 10 at the time, spoke Russian well, but now he’s struggling to keep up with his vocabulary as he’s increasingly using English. On the other hand, my younger daughter, who’s just beginning to speak Russian fluently, is making good progress. To help both of them, we’ve been taking lessons 2-3 times a week.

Learning Russian is one of the best decisions I’ve made. I wanted to challenge myself and also prepare for a trip to Russia. The lessons have been so rewarding. My teacher has helped me tremendously by breaking down complex phrases and cultural references, making it easier for me to communicate effectively. I am now able to understand Russian music and films much better, and that’s been such a fun part of learning. I can’t wait to visit St. Petersburg next year!

Hello! My name is Diana and I’ve been studying with my wonderful French teacher Anne for over a month now. In this short period, I’ve managed to overcome my fear of speaking French, learn the basics of the language, and, most importantly, develop an incredible desire to continue improving my skills! I have been studying German at Ninnel since August 2012. The main advantage of this school, especially the Skype-based language learning method, is the flexible schedule, which is customized for you. If you can’t attend a lesson, you don’t lose the money, the lesson can simply be rescheduled to another convenient day.
